Learning

Our team of advisers draw on their own extensive experience to provide advice, support and a range of continuing professional development opportunities to schools within and beyond Cambridgeshire.

Our consultancy team and helpdesk provide support throughout the year and particularly at crucial times, whether it is ensuring assessment systems are fit for Ofsted, reviewing ICT in the curriculum, preparing for the annual Schools Workforce Census, better use of finance systems, or analysing your assessment data.

Cloud Services

Cloud Platforms are increasingly becoming the solution to modern education needs and demands of schools. With anytime anywhere access, our services provide increased security and collaboration for peer groups including governors, staff, pupils and teachers. The benefits of moving to the cloud can have a positive impact of every aspect of school life.

We offer a range of services designed with your school, academy or trust’s priorities in mind.

If you are planning to move (or have already moved) to a cloud platform, we provide various packages to support use of the Cloud across your education community. Whether you are interested in going to Office 365 or GSuite, we are experts in both platforms.  We can help you decide between the similar feature sets, walk you through how they are developing and when they are released.

    While we all have a responsibility for GDPR compliance akin to Safeguarding, both Microsoft and Google education offerings are fully GDPR compliant in their use of data, data centre storage and communications through their native tools.     Deployment can be modelled according to a school’s or MAT’s needs and with considerations for preserving content of user leavers.

Once you have migrated to a new Cloud platform you can continue to work with us, as part of your strategic plan, to embed the new services in your school through a series of training sessions.

Helpline

Our Service Desk (known as The Helpline) is staffed throughout the year from 8.00am to 5.00pm (4.30pm Fridays). Service Requests can be made by calling 0300 300 0000, by email to support@theictservice.org.uk, or by visiting our Online Helpdesk.

The problem onsite following our LAN re-configuration was complex, needing Matt's expertise to fully resolve our wireless and printing issues.
