The ICT Service is here to help you to get started using the Self-Review Framework, to document and monitor technology across your school.
Action Planning for Strategic Leaders
Technology underpins all aspects of a school, through Administration and Finance, Teaching and Learning across the Curriculum, E-Safety and, of course, the Computing Curriculum.
Getting the right technology in place is a big responsibility for School Leaders.
The Self-Review Framework (SRF) was started in Cambridgeshire as a framework and standardisation process for reviewing all aspects of ICT in school.
Because this framework complements the school inspection frameworks, its use can provide compelling evidence in support of your school’s inspection profile.
The ICT Service is here to help you to get started using the Self-Review Framework, to document and monitor technology across your school.
Signing up for our termly support package will help you to appraise your use of technology in a structured way, in turn helping inform your overall school improvement strategy and plans.
Consultancy from The ICT Service will begin with an initial discussion to help you to understand the Self-Review Framework; then the work will begin in earnest to use the framework to:
- help you review your use of technology in a structured way
- determine your strengths and weaknesses across key areas of technology in your school
- use the elements of the framework to understand and plan a journey of improvement.
