Cambridgeshire Progression in Computing Capability Materials
The Cambridgeshire Progression in Computing Capability materials provide a free framework for primary schools to develop and map their school’s computing curriculum. They are designed to compliment the National Curriculum for Computing in England.
Rooted in a core set of progression statements, these materials are designed to support schools in combining the range of freely available resources online. The materials can also be used in tandem with an existing scheme of work.
The approach we have taken advocates far more than just the teaching of skills; it prioritises the development of ‘capability’ – the ability to confidently and effectively apply those skills in a wide range of contexts across the curriculum.
