Helplines EXTRA – Year End Procedures Update
Article published: 11 June 2019
The end of the academic year will be here before you know it. Guidance Notes on Year End Procedures can now be downloaded.
Download the Helpline SIMS Year End Procedures 2019 Notes
These outline the procedures that need to be completed before the start of the next academic year and are mainly aimed at Primary, Nursery and Special schools.
You can start work on Academic Year End procedures now. Pre-admission groups can be created and new intake student details recorded, thus reducing the workload later in the summer.
Please Note: This year the county term dates cover just the 190 days that students should attend. I.e. all staff training days will need to be during holidays. These can just be recorded in the School Diary in SIMS as they will already show as not requiring student attendance (# code in Attendance/Lesson Monitor).
SIMS End of Academic Year Workshops are available, for new users, or those who would just like to get out of the office to work without the constant interruptions which are an integral part of working in a school office. Taking place at The ICT Service Helpline Training Centre, in St Ives on:
