Pre-requisites...
Are you a new Microsoft Excel user, or are you a bit rusty and want to improve your skills and efficiency in using spreadsheets? If so, join us for this new workshop.
You will also have the opportunity to network and share ideas with others.
We will send you a Training Needs Analysis form to complete before attending so we can assess your current knowledge.

Objectives...
- Navigate around and explore the Excel User Interface
- Open, review and save existing spreadsheets
- Create a basic spreadsheet from scratch or using an inbuilt template
- Format text, numbers and date
- Format a workbook so that it is fit for purpose
- Perform calculations: basic formulas, BODMAS, arithmetic and comparison operators
- Identify and use relative and absolute cell references
- Use the Function wizard
- Sort and Filter Data, work with Lists
- Create charts/graphs from your spreadsheet data
- Save and password protect worksheets
- Use print preview and page set up to ensure you print your data correctly
