A New Bank Account = A perfect time for a spring clean and a change to a more efficient way of working. Moving your systems over from Barclays to NatWest is presents an ideal opportunity to take to plunge and move from Cheque Payments to BACS.
COVID-19 has proved difficult for many finance staff who have been working from home and we have witnessed a few bad practices creeping in… such as ‘unsigned’ cheques being sent to head teachers with invoices ready for posting and we suspect your DPO (Data Protection Officer) will pull a face!
By taking this opportunity of moving your FMS systems to BACS – you will save time and money. You will also have the ability to negotiate with suppliers for ‘Prompt Payment Discounts’.
Converting to BACS gives you more control.
- No more remittance notes to fold and cut up!
- No more stuffing remittance, notes and cheques into envelopes.
- No more stamps to buy 0.76p per first class.
- Streamlined processes.
