Changes to Scheduled Downtime Dates

The ICT Service is making some changes to the scheduled downtime dates. We have cancelled Saturday 13 July 2019 and have now planned to undertake some essential project work over the following two weekends in July:
- Saturday 20 / Sunday 21 July 2019
- Saturday 27 / Sunday 28 July 2019
We anticipate that services to schools will be impacted for short periods of time throughout the two weekends. Services are expected to be intermittently available.
As part of the EastNet project we need to move the data centre infrastructure on to the new network and implement the new web filtering solution which all schools will receive.
The following systems will therefore be intermittently unavailable between 7.00am and approximately 11.00pm on each of the scheduled days (unless otherwise stated):
- Internet Access
- Centrally Hosted MIS
- Remote Access
- School based systems via Remote Access.
