Book the 2018/19 Computing Subject Leaders’ Course
The Coordination of Computing in primary schools has a number of associated tasks and responsibilities. It is often a daunting role and although there is initial enthusiasm, the sheer weight of responsibility means that many Computing Subject Leaders feel overwhelmed by the position.
This course will offer training and support to current and aspiring Computing Subject Leaders in Primary schools. It will help attendees to identify the roles and responsibilities of a Computing Subject Leader in a primary school today, alongside the strategic leadership and distributed responsibilities of other key stakeholders. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other subject leaders and consider the similarities and differences in the role across different schools alongside developing the skills, subject knowledge and understanding of the role of a Computing Subject Leader in the changing primary school of today.
