In case you didn’t see this article in the Schools' Newsletter (dated 8 June 2016) from Learn Together Cambridgeshire - we are highlighting the content for your attention below.
‘The Education Portal is an important resource, accessed daily by schools and settings across Cambridgeshire and beyond. While it offers a wealth of resources, strategies and need to know information, we feel it could be better and we can do more.
We have been working behind the scenes to develop a richer, more powerful and above all, more intuitive platform, one that will put the information you need at your fingertips.
We are excited by the developments and will be continuing our work on this over the summer.  Please do continue to use the Portal as usual.
The Prejudice-Related Incident Data Entry (PRIDE) website will remain unaffected by any changes.
Further updates will be sent before the end of the summer term.

  • Computing and coding
  • Using technology across the curriculum.
Craig Thompson, one of our ELearning Advisors at The ICT Service will be running a workshop:
Scantastic - What to Scan, Where and Why!  (Session 2F - Suitable for all Key Stages)
We are increasingly surrounded by 'scannable' codes inviting us to enter a digital world using mobile technology. The good news is that the technology behind QR codes and Augmented Reality is easily accessible and can be used to enhance and support learning in the classroom. This hands-on session will be full of practical ideas for using codes in the classroom and will help you to decide whether to use QR codes to enter the world of Augmented Reality. We will exploit opportunities in the National Curriculum for English but the ideas will be transferable to other curriculum areas.
The E2BN conference is always a great two day CPD event bringing together:
  • 500 Dedicated Educators
  • 70 Great Exhibitors
  • 26 Fantastic Workshops
